Wood Products Marketing - Minor

The Wood Products Marketing minor offers students in other majors—especially those oriented toward business, science, or engineering—an opportunity to develop a basic competency in wood products marketing and processing. Students will obtain knowledge and skills particularly helpful for employment in sales, as a specifier of wood-based materials for construction and design, or in other related fields in the wood products industries.

Requirements
Students must complete 15 credits in prescribed courses and 3 or more credits in additional Wood Products courses, for a minimum total of 18 credits. A grade of C or better is required for all courses in the minor.

Procedures of Enrollment
Students may apply for admission to the Wood Products Marketing minor by submitting an Application for Admission to a Minor form in 213 Ferguson Building. The approval of the student’s major program adviser is also required. For additional information, contact the School of Forest Resources at 814-865-4237.
