Associate to Baccalaureate Degree Program

This description of associate to baccalaureate degree policy is provided for students who wish to change from an associate degree program in the Penn State system to a baccalaureate major in the College of Agricultural Sciences.

  • The student shall have completed a minimum of 18 credits of baccalaureate level coursework prior to applying for a baccalaureate major and shall have earned a 2.0 cumulative grade point average based on all baccalaureate level courses.
  • The student shall consult with an adviser in the program to request entrance and will jointly develop with the adviser a list of courses that will be accepted toward the major. A copy of the list signed by both the student and adviser must accompany the Change of Major Form for college approval.
    Approved by the College of Agricultural Sciences—April 14, 1993
    • Applicable Rules published in Policies and Rules for Students (06-30, 2.(a); 37-30, 1.(b) and 51-50, 1.,3.) and Academic Administrative Policies and Procedures Manual (D-3).
