Omicron Goals for 2008
Work
with the other JCEP organizations to provide a workshop on
awards & recognition programs and benefits of membership
in professional development associations. Progress:
- JCEP
will submit proposal for Showcase of Excellence to highlight
award winners from each association at the Annual Extension
Conference and association meetings in October 2008.
Increase
membership 10% in 2008.
- Entertained
4 prospective members at the ESP Reception held during the
Spring In-service training
Utilize
the funds set aside for professional development to provide
something to benefit the membership.
Explore
the dues structure utilized by other associations to see if
ESP needs to be changed.
- Discussed
at JCEP meeting in March 2008
Increase
number of award nominations and strive for a nominee for each
award.
- Nominations
are being added to the website to serve as examples.
