EPSILON SIGMA PHI
ALPHIA OMICRON CHAPTER
Professional Development Committee
The professional development committee, with the help of Nancy Crago, submitted an application to ESP for a Mini Grant. This mini-grant was entitled “From Good Intentions to Good Decisions – Financial Management for Extension Professionals”. This was to be presented as a workshop to Extension educators that and was designed to help build the financial competency and skills of extension professionals by strengthening their ability to make wise financial decisions. The ability to make wise financial decisions can have a positive impact on individual and family health, job performance, and confidence in reaching financial goals. The 5 hour workshop style program was to be conducted in 2009. Unfortunately we were not awarded the grant but the committee has decided to re-submit the grant in 2009 with hopes of being successful this time.
