CHAPTER and CAREER AWARDS COMMITTEE REPORT

October 2008

The Chapter and Career Awards Committee met via internet to vote on submitted award recognition nominations. Submitted for award consideration were the following: 2 Distinguished Service Recognition, 2 Early Career Recognition, 2 Rookie Awards, 1 Mid-Career Service Recognition.  Based upon the National ESP recognition program criteria/points, one person was selected from each of these categories. The committee unanimously agreed that all of the candidates submitted were more than worthy of the recognition. The committee recommended that the candidates who were not selected be resubmitted next year.  The following individuals will be recognized at the October meeting in Seven Springs and forwarded on as appropriate for National consideration: Dr. Mary Jo Depp-Nestlerode, Distinguished Service Recognition; Elise A. Gurgevich, Early Career Recognition; Debra C. Burrows, Rookie Award; Robin Kuleck, Mid-Career Service Recognition. The committee needs a chairperson for the next two year commitment.
