MANRRS introduces minorities to the diversity of educational and career opportunities available in the agricultural, natural resources, and related sciences. 

It promotes interaction between its students and professional members and other organizations and institutions. 

MANRRS prepares students for leadership roles through mentoring, networking, and the free exchange of ideas among members.

Membership is open to anyone interested in promoting diversity in agriculture, natural resources, and related sciences.

  MANRA, Minorities in Agriculture and Natural Resources Association, is the Penn State Chapter of MANRRS, the national society for Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences. MANRA's constitution was formally approved by USG, April 1989. Currently,  The objective is to provide a local and national network of support for Penn State students enrolled in agricultural and related majors.
