The Product Development Team
Steve Break manages all of Milano's R&D initiatives. He is supported by two food technologist, Helen Saunders and Beatrice Gould. Helen and Beatrice get assigned to specific problems or may work on the same project depending of the urgency of the situation. The benefits of working in such a small R&D team, as stated by Steve himself, is that "you have a big say on what products the company gets into. Seeing the immediate effects of our efforts, maintains our team highly motivated and extremely well focused." With Steve, Helen and Beatrice, Milano counts on an experienced R&D staff (about 50 years of aggregate experience) rarely seen in food processing companies this size.
In addition, Steve, Helen and Beatrice are assisted by Milano's supplier staff for their entire ingredient needs.
