  Officers and staff members of the American Phytopathological Society (APS) recently attended an officer's retreat in State College, Pennsylvania. The retreat was followed by a town hall forum hosted by Penn State's Department of Plant Pathology.
2009 Pennsylvania Vegetable and Small Fruit Field Day The Pennsylvania Vegetable and Small Fruit Field Day was held August 13, 2009 at Penn State's Southeast Research and Extension Center in Landisville, Pennsylvania.

On Friday October 23rd, the Department of Plant Pathology welcomed Dr. Mary Draper, National Program Leader--Plant Pahtology, USDA/CSREES. Mr. Draper presented The Land Grant Partnership: The New Federal Partner and How Things Get Done as part of the Fall 2009 Department of Plant Pathology Seminar Series.
