College of Agricultural Sciences Funding Sources

The College of Agricultural Sciences receives over $115,000,000 annually from all sources to support its programs of teaching, research and cooperative extension. Approximately 65% of its funds are appropriated annually by Federal (United States Department of Agriculture) State and County government; the other 35% comes from Grants, Contracts, Gifts, Sales of services or products and University General funds. All salaries, wages, benefits and operating expenses require our budgets to be in balance with program needs derived from the teaching, research and extension enterprises.
