Employees are covered by Penn State's general liability policy while they are performing assigned duties and responsibilities.

Employees are provided reimbursement for the use of their privately-owned vehicles while conducting official University business. Reimbursement allowances must cover all operating costs to include insurance coverages. University owned vehicles are available for transportation on official business. Rates and policy governing usage of University Fleet Operations Services can be found in Travel Policy TR10.
