Purpose
KEYSTONE 21 has two goals. The first is to met the challenges created by the rapid changes occurring in the food system. The second goal focuses on enhancing the relevance of land-grant universities by addressing the public's changing needs, values, and priorities.
Partners
KEYSTONE 21 is a partnership between the College of Agricultural Science at Pennsylvania State University, the former Commonwealth Education System within the Pennsylvania State University, Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, and the Rodale Institute Experimental Farm.

Funding Agency & FSPE Institutions
KEYSTONE 21 is one of 14 projects that collectively form the Food Systems Professions Education Initiative funded by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
Initiatives
Based on extensive input from internal and external stakeholders, six initiatives were developed to focus the scope of the projects and activities funded by KEYSTONE 21 .
