Creating a New Plant Pathology Endowment
For those interested in creating an endowment, options include creating endowed faculty positions, which could help attract distinguished professors. Or, you could enhance existing endowments or establish new education, research, and extension programs. See our funding sources and stewardship link for some past examples of how people have helped the Department.
There are many options available beyond a simple cash gift. For example, you may elect to give appreciated securities or create an estate gift. If you are considering a major gift in support of the Department, please contact Dr. Fred Gildow, (814-865-7448; feg2@psu.edu), Head of the Department, or Mark T. Sharer, Director of Development for the College of Agricultural Sciences (814-863-1168; mts122@psu.edu ). They would be happy to discuss your interest in supporting the Department of Plant Pathology.
