Current Position:
 

Responsible for receiving and pasteurization of raw milk.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Receive raw milk and test it for antibiotics.
  • Inventory milk and juices products and prepare production orders for packaged products.
  • Pasteurize all fluid milk for cartons and six gallon containers, as well as three different juices for cartons.
  • Prepare and pasteurize mixes for cream cheese, yogurt, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and ricotta cheese prior to transfer to the cultured products room.
  • Prepare and pasteurize mixes for ice cream, soft serve, sherbet, and frozen yogurt prior to transfer to the ice cream room.
  • Inventory cleaning chemicals and containers for packaging.
  • Assist in workshops and classes for student training on pasteurizing equipment.
  • Assist in cultured products and cheese production.
